Community members have an opportunity to provide needed items to those working in the medical field.
Novant Health UVA Health Systems is accepting donations.
The healthcare provider is collecting the following supplies:
- Bleach wipes
- Commercially wrapped food that are wrapped individually
- Face shields
- Gowns
- Gloves
- Hand sanitizer
- Protective eyewear
- Unused masks, including homemade ones
Items shouldn’t be brought to the hospital without approval.
Anyone interested in donating may email information about available supplies and a phone number to NHUVA.SR@novanthealth.org. They will receive instructions from a community liaison officer.
