Western Prince William County commuters could be impacted by a project next week.
Shelter Lane from Drake Lane to Logmill Road in Haymarket will be closed starting at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, if the weather allows.
The closure will continue until 3 p.m. on October 3 while officials are replacing a pipe, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
Emergency vehicles, school buses, and residents will be allowed into the closed area.
Drivers will be rerouted to another part of Shelter Lane by using Logmill Road, Route 234 and Lawnvale Drive.
