County residents who are working on home improvement projects and yard work during the Coronavirus outbreak can find any supplies they need at two local hardware stores.
Pitkin’s Ace Hardware, 4340 Dale Boulevard in Dale City, and Pitkin’s Woodbine Hardware, 13418 Dumfries Road in Manassas, are staying open for business.
Curbside service is one option they’re offering, according to Co-owner Sarah Pitkin.
Customers may order products on the Ace website, or order and pay for them over the phone.
Pitkin’s Ace Hardware can be reached at 703-670-2139, and the number for Pitkin’s Woodbine Hardware is 703-791-7855.
“Just give us a call if you don’t want to come in, we’ll take it out to your car so that you don’t have to come into the store,” Pitkin explained
The two hardware stores are still offering most of its other services.
Employees, however, are not programming keys for vehicles at this time.
“Remember to continue to shop local, because we are staying open to make sure the community has supplies that they need, and we are trying to keep our employees employed on regular schedules,” Pitkin added.
