Do you love to read? Then take part in this year’s ‘Manassas Reads’ program.
According to a release, on May 6, the City of Manassas, Manassas City Public Schools, and the Prince William Public Library system will host the event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Harris Pavilion at 9201 Center street.
“This free, family event features free books for all ages, local celebrity readers, local authors, crafts, face painting, a photo booth, and the Manassas Therapy Dogs,” stated a release.
The event will include reading and book giveaways. According to a release, at last year’s Manassas Reads event more than 7,000 books were given away.
