Planting a garden is one of the many activities shared by residents of homes provided by Good Shepherd Housing Foundation for vulnerable individuals and families with low income, particularly those who struggle with chronic mental illness.

GSHF resident of 17 years, Leonard Thompson, looks over the garden he tends every day.
Good Shepherd Housing Foundation was founded twenty-eight years ago and provides several programs and related services for persons having a variety of housing needs: Shepherd Homes, Shepherd Leasing, Transitional Housing Partnership for families with children, Long Term Transitional Housing and Affordable Rentals.
A partnership with Prince William County Community Services enables oversight and management of personal and medical services for residents having mental health needs.
Many other partnerships have also been formed with individuals, businesses, civic clubs, and charitable organizations who give in support of the mission of Good Shepherd Housing Foundation.
Donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Housing Foundation. GSHF is a 501 c3 non-profit organization: www.goodshepherdhousing.org. All contributions are tax deductible.
