An upcoming golf tournament is supporting Boys & Girls clubs and remembering a local leader.
The John D. Jenkins Fore the Kids Golf Tournament is taking place on October 7 at the Old Hickory Golf Club, 11921 Chanceford Drive in Woodbridge.
Presented by The Boys & Girls Club of Prince William County and Manassas Branches, the annual event will kick off at Noon.
Former Supervisor John Jenkins is being honored through the program.
Jenkins, the county’s longest serving Supervisor, passed away earlier this year. He was a Boys & Girls Club supporter.
