The Arc of Greater Prince William is hosting a golf tournament for the organization.
The golf tournament will be held on May 13 at the Old Hickory Golf Club, 11921 Chanceford Drive in Lake Ridge. The price for registration is $125 per golfer or $500 for a team of four.
Registration is required in order to participate, and can be done either online or at 7:30 a.m. on the date of the tournament. Individual players can sign up under a team captain or be assigned to a team.
Golfers must be at their carts by 8:20 a.m., and the shotgun start is 10 minutes later. The tournament will finish between 1 and 2 p.m. Then, there will be a luncheon where Executive Director Karen Smith will speak, and an awards presentation.

For over 57 years, the Arc has been dedicated to providing care and education for people with developmental disabilities and serving as advocates for equal rights in that regard. According to its website, the non-profit believes that “each person has value” and should be free to participate in the community if they feel comfortable and capable.
