Young women will be able to explore various career fields this month.
A Girls’ Tech Day is being held for third- through 12th-graders and those who are between 18 and 24 years old.
Attendees will meet mentors and gain experience in robotics, coding and machine learning.
Registration is open for the program, which is taking place on September 28.
It will occur George Mason University’s (GMU) Science and Technology Campus, 10960 George Mason Circle in Manassas.
Event organizers are hosting adult women from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and high school students between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Middle school students will be able to participate from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and elementary schoolers may come between 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
