Gar-Field High School is under new leadership.
Matt Mathison is the new principal of the Woodbridge-based institution.
Mathison previously taught at Woodbridge Middle School, according to a release from Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS).
He served as a social studies teacher and an assistant principal at Woodbridge High School, as well.
The Brighton, MI native attended Michigan State University and, later on, earned his master’s in education leadership from George Mason University (GMU).
