Members of the Prince William County community will be remembering a public figure who touched many lives.
A funeral and visitation services for Prince William County Supervisor John Jenkins have been scheduled.
Jenkins, who served as the Board of County Supervisors’ (BOCS) Neabsco District representative for 36 years, passed away on Wednesday.
Visitations are being held between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Community members may also attend a visitation that’s scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
The visitation on Wednesday will be followed by a memorial and funeral service that’s starting at 12:30 p.m.
All services are taking place at the Hylton Memorial Chapel, which is located at 14640 Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge.
Jenkins is going to be buried in Alabama.
