Fourth of July festivities are heading to eastern Prince William County.
The Dale City Independence Day Parade and Family Fun Day are scheduled for July 4.
At 10 a.m., the parade kicks off the celebrations at the Kirkdale Road-Dale Boulevard intersection. Groups start lining up from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Family Fun Day begins after the parade and continues until 2 p.m. at the Dale City Commuter Lot, 4395 Dale Boulevard.
Organizations may sign up to participate in the parade or Family Fun Day. This year, applications can be submitted through Google Forms, email or mail.
To complete the form online, scan the QR code on the Dale City Fourth of July Parade flyer below. Groups are also able to fill it out by going to the Fourth of July Parade application and Family Fun Day application links that are listed under the QR codes.

A confirmation email will be sent to the organization’s point of contact listed on the form. If they don’t receive one within two weeks, they should send the parade committee an email.
Mailed copies can be requested, as well. Once completed, it should be emailed to DaleCity4thofJulyParade@gmail.com or mailed to: DALE CITY PARADE COMMITTEE, P.O. BOX 1822, DALE CITY, VA 22195.
Parade applications are due June 16. Those who turn them in after the deadline must pay a $25 late fee.
The line-up number will be emailed on July 1.
