Family fun can be found in Dale City.
The Dale City Fourth of July Parade is coming up.
“The Dale City parade is a great place for family,” Parade Staging Director James Hicks said.
Beginning at 10 a.m., the parade will travel along Dale Boulevard from Kirkdale Road to the Dale City Commuter Lot.
Bands from Gar-Field High School and Hylton High School, and the Dale City Volunteer Fire Department (DCVFD) are among the participants.
Hicks encourages attendees to arrive early.
“Come and set your coolers down … have your fun, and watch the parade go by,” he said.
The fun continues with a Family Fun Day that starts after the parade.
Vendors, a DJ and performances are some features of the event, which will be at Dale City Commuter Lot.
“It is family fun, fun for everybody — everybody from the little tots to the grown ups,” Hicks said.
