A grant is enabling an organization to teach local adults English and assist them with their job search.
Literacy Volunteers of America – Prince William (LVA-PW) in Dale City has received a $5,000 grant, according to a release from LVA-PW.
The funding comes from the Nora Roberts Foundation, which supports literacy groups.
Established 28 years ago, LVA-PW provides tutoring on various topics, including GED preparation and citizenship.
