Eyes are turning to the skies in Vint Hill.
Commander Colonel Charles P. “Chuck” Wilson will recount his experience of flying a U-2 spy plane during the Cold War.
Considered one of the hardest planes to operate, the U-2 is still being used to monitor various activities.
Wilson, a retired member of the United States Air Force (USAF), will give his presentation at Old Bust Head Craft Brewery on May 12.
The Cold War Museum in Warrenton and the brewery, 7134 Farm Station Road, are sponsoring the event.
Tickets may be purchased for $35 on eventbrite, where more information and a schedule can be found.
Those unable to attend the program may see a video of it by emailing Cold War Museum Executive Director Jason Hall at jason@coldwar.org.
