Students from Forest Park High School are leading their third annual Suicide Awareness Walk in Prince William this Saturday.
The free walk will begin at the school gym at 15721 Forest Park Drive in Woodbridge at 9 a.m through around 12 p.m.
“Students will lead the 6.2 mile walk from Forest Park High School to Hylton High School, and back,” stated a release.
Along the route there will be stations staffed by volunteers with water. Cadets from the school’s Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps will also be at the event volunteering.
According to a release, Congressman Gerry Connolly and Senator Jeremy McPike will take part in the event.
