People in need will be able to access free food in Manassas.
A food giveaway is scheduled for 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. It will take place at 9021 Centerville Road, Lot 41.
Non-perishable food donations will be accepted at the giveaway.
In addition to the food giveaway, a few food drives are being held across the county this month.
Dale City Civic Association (DCCA) is partnering with organizations, businesses and Neabsco District Supervisor Victor Angry to host a food drive on Saturday. The food drive begins at 9 a.m. at the Dale City Commuter Lot.
Clearbrook Center for the Arts will have a Holiday Food Drive from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tacketts Mill Drive in Lake Ridge. The donations will go to Action in Community Through Service (ACTS).
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is collecting food for ACTS, as well. Between 9 a.m. to Noon until December 21, community members may drop off items at 15695 Blackburn Road in Woodbridge.
