Fixers of clothing, jewelry and other objects are being sought by two agencies.
A Fix-It Fair may be coming to Prince William County this spring.
It would be hosted by the Prince William County Solid Waste Division and Keep Prince William Beautiful (KPBW), according to a release from the Solid Waste Division.
Attendees of Fix-It events may bring items in need of repair.
“The Solid Waste Division is happy to partner with KPWB on this new project,” Solid Waste Division Chief Tom Smith said in a release. “A Fix-It Fair provides a convenient way for people to make their ‘it’s in good shape, except’ items useable again and this reduces wastes and promotes reuse.”
Those who would like to serve as a fixer should email their name, phone number and skills to PWCRecycles@pwcgov.org.
