Fingerprinting services are available to those living or hoping to work in Prince William County.
The Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) is offering it at its Licensing Section, 8406 Kao Circle in Manassas, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Community members must schedule an appointment by visiting the PWCPD website and choosing the desired appointment. February appointment dates are listed.
They should then click “submit” and sign up at the bottom.
A form of I.D. is required for fingerprinting services. Acceptable forms of ID are listed on the county’s website.
It costs $5 for the initial two cards, and any extra cards are $5 each. The police department is accepting cash, American Express, MasterCard and Visa.
This service is not offered for immigration. Those needing fingerprints for that purpose should go to a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services site.
Anyone who would like more information may visit the police department’s website or contact the Licensing Section at 703-792-4183.
