It’s that time of year again for The Salvation Army’s ‘Fill a Truck’ fundraiser.
According to Catie Murphy, Volunteer Coordinator for the Prince William Salvation Army, ‘Fill a Truck’ will be taking place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on December 5 at all five of Prince William County’s Walmart locations.
Murphy stated that large trucks will be placed outside the entrances of the Walmart locations, to make it easier for shoppers to donate toys and clothes to many of the county’s children in need this Christmas season.
In the past, more than 1,000 kids were able to receive clothes and gifts, thanks to residents’ generosity, stated Murphy.
