Northern Virginia families are about to get some fresh air.
From August 30 to September 2, the Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center is hosting its first annual Family Camp.
Based out of Front Royal, the non-profit offers programs for children and families in 19 localities, including Prince William County.
During Family Camp, community members will be able to stay in lodges, enjoy seven meals and participate in programs.
They can also take part in activities that are offered across the property, according to Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center Director Jeremy Stanford.
“The schedule is designed to offer ample time for your family to enjoy any number of the self-led activities on site, but also to use the incredible beauty of the Center to create an atmosphere for the simple yet powerful practice of rest and renewal,” Stanford wrote in a letter to the public.
Participants are also invited to lead an activity or workshop based on their interests.
Registration for the Family Camp is available on the Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center website.
