Several local organizations are available for senior citizens.
Individuals, families and caregivers will be able to learn about them on Wednesday.
From 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Prince William Area Agency on Aging and the Prince William Chamber of Commerce are hosting the “Transitions – Resources for Aging Gracefully” expo.
Held at the food court of the Potomac Mills Mall, 2700 Potomac Mills Circle in Woodbridge, the sixth annual event will feature exhibitors.
Attendees will be able to learn about resources, housing options and health-related topics, according to a release from Prince William County.
“Everyone’s situation is different, Director of the Area Agency on Aging Sarah Henry said in a release. “So, understanding the resources that are available can help caregivers manage the caregiving process for their loved ones and help older adults age in place and remain in their homes safely.”
Additional details about the program are available on the Prince William County website.
