Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest

Saturday, January 7th
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This competition is open to boys and girls ranging in age from 8 to 13 years old. Caveat concerning age qualifications: If the contestant is 7 years old on April 1, 2023, they are too young to participate. If the contestant is 14 years years old on April 1, 2023, they are too old to participate.
Contestants compete in one of six divisions:
Boys, ages 8 – 9 Girls, ages 8 – 9
Boys, ages 10 – 11 Girls, ages 10 – 11
Boys, ages 12 – 13 Girls, ages 12 – 13
There is no registration fee to participate. Birth certificate is required at registration.
Winners in each of the six age categories are invited to compete at the District Level Competition held in Loudoun, Virginia, a week later.
After awards are presented, a light lunch at the Elks Lodge* will be served for contestants and their families.
*The Woodbridge Elks Lodge is located at 14602 Minnieville Rd – turn right out of the recreation center parking lot, after one mile the Lodge will be on the right, next door to NOVEC.
