Set in a city backdrop with a lively mixture of rock, gospel, funk and soul music, The Wiz is a modern spin on Dorothy’s adventures in the Land of Oz. Join us for the musical production of The Wiz by Charlie Smalls – an urban retelling of L. Frank Baum’s classic 1900 children’s novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. At WSHS, you will be entertained with a live orchestra and a talented cast of more than 100 actors, singers, technicians, dancers and musicians in this family-friendly production.
Show dates/times: Thursday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets cost $12 for adults and $7 for students and are available at the door.
