Event Details

Kids day is only part of the agenda on tap as the P-Nats wrap up this weekend series with the Pelicans (Cubs affiliate). Every Sunday is kids day at the ballpark, which means the following for kids 12 and under: Free drink and hot dog, visit with a face painter, kids randomly selected to serve as PA announcer for a half inning, and after the game: kids can come to the field to play catch, run the bases, and meet with the players for a kids-only autograph inning. In addition, former MLB OFer Covelli “Coco” Crisp, who played for the franchise in 2001 and went on to a 15-year major league career that included 2 pennant winning teams and the 2007 World Series Championship with the Red Sox, will be on hand to greet fans, sign autographs, and throw out the first pitch. He is the 2018 inductee into the Potomac Baseball Hall of Fame. Fans can remember him for years to come by taking home a Coco Crisp cereal bowl.
