From July 21 until the end of August, 1861, Ben Lomond was converted into the Pringle House Hospital to care for hundreds of wounded soldiers after the fateful events of the first major battle of the Civil War. Join site historians in a unique opportunity to spend the night in the hospital and learn about the wounded soldiers who were treated there, the families who were impacted, and the effects of the war on Northern Virginia. The evening will include a tour of the hospital, an evening campfire, and more. Breakfast will be provided in the morning. Participants must bring their own sleeping materials.
