Event Details

The Asaph Dance Ensemble will be presenting its unique holiday tradition, “Clara’s Christmas,” choreographed by Robert and Robin Conrad Sturm. Based on the beloved Christmas story, “The Nutcracker,” the Asaph Dance Ensemble’s ballet is the story of how a young girl, Clara, discovers the true joy and hope of Christmas. Following Tchaikovsky’s famous and well known score, this ballet will accompany you through Clara’s myriad adventures and emotional journey, culminating in a finale that will keep your spirits lifted throughout the entire season!

Also appearing on the program is the well loved and favorite, “Handel’s Messiah.” The ballet takes the audience through the seven movements of Handel’s masterpiece. First choreographed in 1984 by Robin Conrad Sturm, and has appeared on stage at the DAR Constitution Hall for many years. While originally performed with full chorus, soloists, and orchestra, it is now being performed just as a ballet.

Bring the entire family and start the holiday season off on the right foot! We will be performing a matinee at 3:30PM and an evening performance at 7:30PM on December 4th. Tickets can be purchased at the door (10960 George Mason Circle, Manassas, VA 20110; Box Office Phone: 703-993-7759) or on the Hylton website: http://www.hyltoncenter.org/calendar/870/
