Cancer Support Group
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center hosts a cancer support group sponsored by Nueva Vida. The mission of Nueva Vida is to focus on providing high-quality, evidence-based approaches that support Latino families during one of their most traumatic experiences. Registration is not required, and sessions are open to the public.
La misión de Nueva Vida es informar, apoyar y educar a las mujeres Latinas cuyas vidas han sido afectadas por el cáncer. Al igual que facilitar y abogar por el acceso a servicios médicos de alta calidad para la oportuna detección, diagnóstico y tratamiento del cáncer.
Meets the last Thursday of the month. Exceptions: November & December, meetings will be the third Thursday due to holidays.Please RSVP with Claudia Campos at 202-223-9100. Enter the hospital campus using the entrance at River Rock Way and park in the visitor’s parking lot outside of the Hylton Education Center.
