Audition for a role in ARTfactory’s Pied Piper Theatre’s production of Big Fish on Friday, October 28 from 5:30pm – 9:30pm or Saturday, October 29 from 9am – 1pm. Callbacks will be Sunday, October 30 from 1pm – 4pm. Rehearsals will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at Baldwin Elementary School from 6pm – 8:30pm and Saturdays at the ARTfactory from 9 am – 1 pm.

Prepare 30 seconds of a song that you are comfortable singing and that will demonstrate your range and a one minute monologue that highlights your acting abilities. Wear dance or athletic attire and jazz shoes (or a smooth soled shoe) for the audition. Based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the film directed by Tim Burton, Big Fish tells the story of a father and son’s strained relationship due to the father’s seemingly outlandish stories about his life, and the son’s distrust of his father’s credibility. Wanting to uncover his father’s truth, Will embarks on a journey where he meets interesting individuals he has heard about from his father.
Big Fish will be performed at Merchant Theatre in the Hylton Performing Arts Center Saturday, January 28 at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday, January 29 at 3pm. Big Fish production staff include David Johnson (Director), Mara Cerven (Music Director), Megan Marshall (Choreographer), Nicole Andres (Costumer), Jennifer Malos (Tech Director), Charlotte Steele and Tami Pugmire (Producers).
COVID POLICY: At this time, all cast, crew, volunteers and production staff must be fully vaccinated to participate in this production or submit a negative Covid test every week. Face coverings are recommended throughout the rehearsal period. The cast will perform without masks.
