Following the passing of Prince William County Clerk of the Circuit Court Michele McQuigg, a special election was called for April 18, in order to fill the seat.
The position serves residents in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park.
There is in-person absentee voting in Prince William, Manassas, and Manassas Park. Voting on April 18 will be held at regular polling locations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Election officers are needed in Prince William for the special election. Election officers receive paid training and between $125 and $200 for the day for working at a polling location.
