Dale City Civic Association (DCCA) is sponsoring a Dumpster Day.
DCCA is a non-profit that helps run programs throughout the year, including the Dale City Independence Day Parade and annual backpack drive.
Slated for September 19, the Dumpster Day is also supported by Keep Prince William Beautiful (KPWB), Prince William County Public Works, and Neighborhood Services.
It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dale City Commuter Lot, which is located next to the Dairy Queen on Dale Boulevard.
Antifreeze, commercial waste, fuel tanks and drums, household hazardous waste, motor oil, paint thinners, pesticides and pool chemicals won’t be accepted.
Refrigerators should be emptied and glass trays removed from microwaves
