Dumfries resident Sylvia Mobley has won a new Corvette Stingray and $100,000.
According to a release, Mobley won the prize while playing the Virginia Lottery’s Corvette and Ca$h scratch ticket game.
“I see a Corvette drive by, and I wave. I wish that was mine,” stated a release.
Mobley purchased the ticket at the Shoppers location at 4174 Fortuna Center Plaza.
She is the second person to win the car and $100,000 prize, which means that there is one more winning ticket still out there, according to Virginia Lottery.
“It feels fabulous. I’m still in shock right now,” stated Mobley in a release.
When asked what color Mobley wanted for her new Corvette, she knew exactly what she wanted.
“Burgundy, for the Redskins,” stated Mobley in a release.
“The odds of scratching to win the top prize in Corvette® and Ca$h are 1 in 1,387,200. The odds of winning any prize in this game are 1 in 4.31,” according to the Virginia Lottery.
