As Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews work on projects in Spotsylvania, expect delays and lane closures this week.
According to VDOT, there will be overnight travel delays on I-95 northbound and southbound lanes and double lane closures.

I-95 Northbound and Southbound:
Tuesday, Sept. 5 ˗˗ Friday, Sept. 8 (ending at 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9)
- Single lane closure at 9 p.m. at mile marker 121 (Ni River bridge) south of Exit 126 (Massaponax)
- Double lane closure at 10 p.m.
- All lanes open by 4:30 a.m.
“Repairs will continue to the I-95 northbound and southbound bridges over the Ni River, which are among six interstate bridges being rehabilitated in the Fredericksburg area through Fall 2018. Virginia State Police will assist with traffic control near the work zone,” stated VDOT.
