Nighttime travelers will want to avoid parts of a Haymarket highway.
Officials are closing single lanes on Route 15 North and South on Wednesday and Thursday.
Rumble strip is being installed between Route 234 and Logmill Road from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, according to a release from the Virginia Department of Transportation.
According to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), rumble strips warn motorists when they’re driving outside a lane.
Travelers should consider using other routes, as delays are anticipated while the work is being completed.
They are asked to not pass equipment until given permission by flaggers.
