Dale City drivers could face more traffic delays than normal.
Between Monday and Thursday, officials will be working on a project that will cause stops on Cardinal Drive.
Motorists may have to wait for up to 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to a release from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
They are advised to consider other routes.
The stops are resulting from the replacing of two Dominion Energy transmission lines.
Constructed in 1948 and 1954, the lines run from Possum Point to Dale City.
More information about the project is available on Dominion Energy’s website.
