A local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is hosting a “Welcome Home Day” celebration at the United States Marine Corps Museum in Triangle.
According to DAR member Marie Vayer, the event will be held on March 29 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“I will have ladies at the museum to hand out Vietnam Commemoration stickers, proclamations and lapel pins to all Vietnam Veterans attending the museum that day. We are hoping for a lot of visitors to the museum and Vietnam Veterans so we can thank them for their service,” stated Vayer.
