With the help of local business Whitlock Wealth Management, the Dale City Civic Association (DCCA) was able to deliver school supplies to students in need at Bel Air Elementary.
According to DCCA member Patti Beattie, the organization delivered the items to a teacher at the school, where they will be distributed to students that need them.
In total there were eight bags of supplies delivered to the school including notebooks, paper, crayons, markers, pencils, hand sanitizers, and other supplies, according to Beattie.
DCCA meets the second Thursday of every month at the Birchdale Community Center at 7 p.m.
