The Dale City 4th of July Parade is right around the corner.
This year’s parade will run from 10 a.m. to around 11 a.m. down Dale Boulevard, according to parade Chairman Ernestine Jenkins.
“The parade route is from Kirkdale Drive to Center Plaza, starting at 10 a.m.,” said Jenkins.
Attendees can sit in the medians on the road or on the sidewalks along Dale Boulevard, and lineup for participants begins at 9 a.m.
“Come out and see the best parade in the state of Virginia. And at the end of it, we have Family Fun Day in the commuter lot on Dale Boulevard,” said Jenkins.
Family Fun Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Individuals can park either in Center Plaza’s lot or the lot across the street in front of Pitkin’s Ace Hardware.
