Many transportation projects are underway in Prince William County.
They include a study on the expansion of Virginia Railway Express (VRE) station’s third track and rail yard.
Officials plan to finish construction by December 2022, according to a release from Prince William County.
Two express lanes are also being built, as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway project.
The lanes will run from I-495 to University Boulevard in Gainesville.
