Serve Our Willing Warriors (SOWW), which offers a getaway for veterans and service members and their families, started five years ago.
The non-profit is celebrating its anniversary.
As part of the festivities, SOWW will be having its inaugural “Vettes for Vets” Corvette Car Show, according to a release from SOWW.
The free event is taking place at the he Warrior Retreat at Bull Run, 16013 Waterfall Road in Haymarket, on August 15.
Between 100 and 150 corvette owners are expected to participate in the Corvette Car Show that’s scheduled for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those planning to be involved should register on-site on August 15.
A goodie bag, dash plaque, and best of show trophies are included in the registration, which costs $20.
In addition to the car show, visitors may enjoy Food, vendors, games, live music, tours of the Lange House and the PenFed Foundation House, and a 50/50 raffle.
