Additional Coronavirus testing locations are becoming available.
Starting on Friday, May 15, community members can be tested in the parking lots of two local Walmarts.
The Walmarts sit at 17041 Jefferson Davis Highway in Dumfries and 8386 Sudley Road in Manassas, according to a release from Prince William County.
Testing is being offered between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The initiative is a partnership between officials, Walmart and eTrueNorth, which is processing the samples and providing their results.
“We are happy to partner with the Health Department and Walmart to provide testing for citizens,” Prince William County Executive Chris Martino said in a release. “It is important to provide sufficient COVID-19 testing in Prince William County. We are appreciative of the collaboration of resources to increase testing in our county.”
Community members should schedule an appointment on eTrueNorth’s online portal.
Those being tested must wear a mask and wait in the car.
