Looking for a secure way to get rid of some of that paperwork you have lying around, that you no longer need?
Then head to the ‘Community Shredding’ event on May 7, hosted by Prince William County Public Works’ Solid Waste Division, according to a release.
The event will be taking place at two locations from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., stated a release. Shredding will be happening at the Prince William County Landfill at 14811 Dumfries Road, and at the Balls Ford Road Compost Facility at 13000 Balls Ford Road, according to a release.
According to a release, residents may bring up to 4 boxes (18”x12”x15”) or smaller for shredding, free of charge.
The event is only open to Prince William residents, and no businesses will be allowed to shred documents, stated a release.
