Have you ever wanted to learn more about law enforcement?
Manassas residents and business owners have a chance to do so this fall.
Registration is open for the City of Manassas Police Department’s Community Police Academy.
Police training, de-escalation and police departments are some of the topics that will be covered.
Those 18 years and older can sign up for the program. The registration deadline is July 31. Walk-ins won’t be accepted.
The sessions will be offered between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on the following dates:
- October 1
- October 8
- October 15
- October 22
- October 28
- November 5
Participants must pass a background check and can’t miss more than 2 sessions.
