Each month, Keep Prince William Beautiful (KPWB) removes litter from various areas of the county.
This upcoming weekend, it’s focusing its attention on the Town of Dumfries.
The environmental non-profit is seeking volunteers for the next Community Litter Cleanup.
The event is occurring from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Check-in is at 17755 Main Street.
KPWB will provide garbage bags, safety vests, litter pickers, gloves and hand sanitizer.
Participants are encouraged to wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, close-toed shoes, and masks, and they should bring a water bottle.
Anyone who would like to sign up for the Community Litter Cleanup or learn additional information can visit the KPWB website or email Environmental Programs Manager Sean Morrow at smorrow@kpwb.org.
