Are you prepared for an active shooter situation?
According to a release, the Prince William Committee of 100 will be hosting a panel on this topic on January 19 in Manassas.
The panel will be held at City Tavern at 9550 Center Street with dinner at 7 p.m. and the program at 7:45 p.m.
“In a confined and populated area, active shooter situations are unpredictable and evolve quickly. Often over within 10 to 15 minutes, sometimes before law enforcement arrives on the scene, individuals and institutions must be prepared to deal with an active shooter situation,” stated a release.
Panelists include Prince William County Schools Risk Management consultant Ron Crowe, Active Threat Preparedness Expert David Hunt of Kiernan Group Holdings, Prince William County Police Department Special Operations Commander Captain Scott Vago, and the moderator will be retired United States Marine Corps Lt. Colonel Michael Janay.
To RSVP, contact Carol Proven at email@example.com. The program is free and dinner is $30 for non-members.
