Want an easy way to comment on upcoming Prince William Board of County Supervisors’ (BOCS) agenda items? Now there is one.
The county has created a new web application called “Speak Up! Prince William” that allows residents to post comments online in relation to the agenda items up to an hour before the BOCS meetings begin.

Agendas are posted here every Thursday before the upcoming scheduled Tuesday BOCS meeting.
According to a release, the county decided to create the application to make sure all residents were able to comment on items, even if they were unable to attend BOCS meetings in person.
“Comments are limited to 500 characters and should speak to the specific agenda item. While the comments are not part of the official public record for the meeting and do not take the place of public hearings, they do offer an additional way for citizens to comment on issues before the board,” stated a release.
