Want to learn about what life was like for a Civil War soldier?
Tomorrow night at the Ben Lomond Historic Site at 10321 Sudley Manor Drive in Manassas the Prince William Historic Preservation Foundation will be hosting “History by Campfire: A Civil War Soldier’s Life”.
During the event you’ll “learn about a soldier’s pack, diet, and daily life around a nice and toasty campfire,” from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., according to a release.
The event is the first in a campfire series related to the history of the Ben Lomond Historic site.
Admission is $5 per person, and RSVP is not required.
