The City of Manassas has made it easier for residents to pay their taxes online.
According to a release, Manassas residents can now pay their personal property and real estate taxes all in one place, on the city’s new “Self Service Portal”.
“City residents can click on the Pay My Bill icon on the front of the website (www.manassascity.org), scroll to the tax they wish to pay and follow the prompts,” stated a release.
Residents are still able to bring in-person payments to the Treasurer’s Office Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“This is a new software system for the City of Manassas. For the last year and a half, the City has been working to replace the current Enterprise Resource Program, or ERP, to enhance City government functions for our residents. The ability to pay taxes in one place online is part of this system,” stated a release.
The city is also planning to add functions to pay parking tickets, dog licenses, and utility bills within the same portal.
