Family members of those with special needs and professionals can receive advice and assistance through an annual program.
The Circle of Support Conference has been scheduled for November 2.
Organized by The Arc of Greater Prince William, the event will run from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It’s taking place at Hylton High School, 14051 Spriggs Road in Dale City.
This year’s keynote speaker is Joe LaBelle, who serves as the director of the Family Network on Disabilities in Clearwater, Florida. LaBelle plans to talk about artificial intelligence and special education.
A variety of breakout sessions will also be offered, including homework strategies and art therapy.
Community members will be able to sign up by early August. Non-profit and for-profit organizations may register through The Arc of Greater Prince William’s website.
