Possible updates may be coming to Lake Ridge roads.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is accepting feedback from the community for a study.
Officials are considering improvements to the Prince William Parkway – Old Bridge Road intersection, Laurel Hills Drive to Kenwood Drive on the Prince William Parkway, and the Prince William Parkway to Titania Way on Old Bridge Road.
Changing to a “T” or “Thru-Cut” intersection are two of the possibilities for the intersection, according to a release from VDOT. Other options are: building an interchange or flyover, and making small updates, such as signal timing.
Changes could also be made to other intersections. Updates for pedestrians and flashing yellow arrows are among them.
Until July 17, the public can take an online survey on MetroQuest.
They may email input to meetingcomments@vdot.virginia.gov with “Prince William Parkway/Old Bridge Road STARS Study” as the subject line, or mailed to Ms. Michelle Brickner, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.
More information about the Prince William Parkway – Old Bridge Road intersection options can be found in an online presentation that has been posted on YouTube.
