High school students are receiving insight about future professions.
On Thursday, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is hosting a Transportation Career Fair.
Attendees can learn about an array of career fields, including architecture and civil engineering, according to a release from VDOT.
Set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event will be held at the Prince William County Fairgrounds, 10624 Dumfries Road in Manassas.
The 15th annual event will feature around 100 organizations and businesses, hands-on activities, and giveaways. Scholarships and internships are going to be available, as well.
Students may also produce a business or item and present it to judges through the new High School Business Plan Competition.
